For the purpose of improvement of safety at customer site, DNV Klaipėda and Western Shipyard held first common SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) Seminar, involving both DNV and Yard's personnel.

During the seminar, DNV Klaipeda District Manager Andrius Uldukis and Project Manager Igor Nazimov have arranged SHE presentation related to Working at Height issue, including common discussions.

Yard's Safety team, Project Managers and field foremen's, as being directly responsible for the safety at projects have been participating in the workshop and gave positive reflections on the topic. During common discussions, several suggestions and recommendations have been given to the Yard by DNV Klaipeda team for consideration of improvement in the future.

With this seminar DNV Klaipeda has started common cooperation with Western Shipyard towards improvements in the SHE field. DNV Klaipeda team is looking forward to arrange the next seminar for which the topic has been already agreed in order to continue with similar activities in the near future.
