Cooperation and communication between Baltic manufacturers is a key to become recognised players in the challenging markets, and we need to find the methods and formats to make it working efficiently – we heard this from the seminar participants.

Seminar was finalized with panel discussions and brief information about enterprises represented on this seminar. We were pleased to see constructive and open dialogue between themselves and with DNV. Apart of formal agenda we noticed people actively exchanging information, sharing experience and just enjoying the networking during the breaks and meals.

The most valuable feedback from this event was that DNV hit the target by arranging such seminar and shall continue with the tradition. We noted the suggestions from participants about more successful format and preparation in the future.
The most important was the unanimous message that companies can develop and succeed better only through exchanging information, finding the ways in outsourcing services from each other, subcontracting. A number of Baltic producers are having highly skilled specialists and modern equipment with potential to be utilised more effectively.

Companies feel that working together on some products can open opportunities for making products more attractive, competitive and even unique for some markets. DNV brand and services have been recognised as strong tool to reach these goals.

There is a need of organisation, which could lead and coordinate the desired experience exchange and potential cluster building process. But it cannot be created artificially, it shall be an organic process and the initiative shall come from parties involved.
DNV’s mission and contribution could be hosting of regular structured seminars for Baltic customers.
