We have a strong technology base with some 75 per cent of our employees holding a PhD, Master or Bachelor degree. Our investment in R&D amounts to some NOK 550 million each year.

In 2009 we secured 77 contracts (4,9 mill. GT). We have an orderbook of 1,309 vessels corresponding to 52,5 mill. GT. We have an existing fleet of 5725 vessels (136,2 mill. GT) and a market share of 15,3% in GT. DNV is authorised to act on behalf of some 80 national maritime authorities.
